Review of the Al Stewart CD Orange
The exceptionally talented Rock artist Al Stewart has released him CD entitled Orange. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Al Stewart fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Orange Al Stewart’s artistic excellence is on full display as Stewart has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.
Orange launches with an outstanding track, You Don’t Even Know Me, that I anticipate will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It really is a very nice track.
Orange is a nicely varied, mix of 11 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly outstanding artist. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They’re all here.
Orange is a first rate CD, delivering a little something for everyone. I give it my highest recommendation. It’s quite simply great listening. A must buy for the Rock fan.
While this entire album is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 3 - Songs Out Of Clay, track 7 - I’m Falling, and track 11 - It Doesn’t Matter Anymore.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - You Don’t Even Know Me. Outstanding!
